Hebden Bridge is famous for its amazing tall terraced houses all piled on top of each other up the valley sides. The pavements are so steep they have to have railings in places. This original woodcut print shows the stacked terraces of millstone grit and the contrasting lush green trees rising up the hillsides.

The image is printed on buff Fabriano Ingres paper which is supported on cream Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper.
 
Additional colour is applied by hand using lightfast professional quality pencil crayons.
